The Welcome

The airport pickup was arranged from the hotel, they were on time and helpful with questions. When we got there it was raining and we were quite tired from our previous travels. The staff took all the stress off our shoulders by taking our luggage, doing a fast check-in, and walking us with an umbrella. We also ordered scooters arranged by the hotel for our entire stay.

I must say, this hotel took me by surprise. When the pictures of the hotel online do not match what you see in real life, it can be a bummer. In this case, Natya Resorts was the opposite the pictures don't do it justice. From feeling like you're living in the jungle to feeling like you're living in luxury, it was a truly unique experience. The staff are extremely helpful and will go above and beyond so that you enjoy your time here.

Room

We stayed at the Royal Pool Villa. The washroom includes an indoor/outdoor shower, a big tub, a spacious sink, and a closet. The bedroom has a desk and couch area, overlooking the jungle and a private infinity pool where you can have all sorts of fun. Every villa has its own name linked to a God from the Hindu religion, ours was called the Bharata.

The Natya Resort Ubud offers a range of amenities and activities for guests to enjoy, from swimming in the infinity pool to indulging in a spa treatment. I spent my days lounging by the pool and taking in the stunning views of the surrounding forest. The resort's restaurant, Lumbung Restaurant, served up delicious traditional Balinese dishes, which I will discuss next.

Food

I wasn't too mad about the fact that Balinese eat noodles for breakfast, although it was a bit of a culture shock at first. Breakfast can be sent to the room which is nice when you're feeling lazy. The food here was all good. For the fact that you're not going to be eating at the resort for your entire stay, it's important to at least have a few menu items that you could enjoy late at night or in the morning.

I'm not the biggest breakfast person, but I couldn't get enough of their noodles so I kept ordering it for breakfast because it was that good. Although my stomach was confused it was satisfying enough to keep me full until lunch. The fruit and drinks were delicious and decidant. The chicken and rice were also good because I liked the spice. The coconut banana dessert and pudding would be good for those who like banana desserts.

Access

Natya Resort Ubud is in a good location close to the most popular attractions in Ubud. For example, it is around 9 km from Ubud Monkey Forest and not too far from the hub of Ubud town where I went for nice restaurants and shopping. It's also 43 km from the Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Conclusion

Overall, I would recommend this place to a friend and to you. Almost certain you will have an unforgettable experience and a peaceful place to come back to after your day of adventures in Bali. When you come to Bali, doing it big makes more sense since the prices are 2 x cheaper than in the western world. So you can live your absolute best life and feel like a million bucks without breaking the bank. That is some of the many reasons I love Bali and tell all my friends to hurry and book a flight!
